Ah, and then people complain when a gold seller advert here remains undeleted for a mere two hours... EDIT: On a more serious note, posts like this might help you keep your optimism: What bothers me most is that the community is made up nearly exclusively of sheep. I'm willing to bet that a good number of players, and even some of the posters who made a witty comment were actually offended (at least on some level). And, instead of expressing it, they chose not to ruffle feathers. No, I'm not black. But, anything I've said which most probably presume was targeted ONLY at the whites who made those racist comments is meant equally for any and all of the black players who said, "I'm black and I thought this was funny." I'm sure some of them might respond, "you have no right to tell me how to feel about these types of comments." But, I would say the same thing to these people that I would to anyone who's getting bullied/insulted. "Stand up for yourself." Insults are insults, even when masked in humor. All of the 15 and 16 year olds, who play Wow and on the forums, are seeing this and likely developing skewed perspectives on bigotry because people refuse to speak up and say something. It's hours later. And I'm still very angry at what I saw in that thread--not so much the original post as the hundreds of endorsing comments made about it.
Please bear with me folks, I am new to WoW and am being taught by a good friend of mine and I'd like your experience in order to make the following decision: So here it goes, my WoW obsessed friend is amazing and I am looking to buy him a fabulous present and am wondering which would be more beneficial for a hardcore WoW gamer like himself. What would be better to get him, an Ideazon Zboard GamingKeyboard (and if so should i get the Warcraft Keyset for Zboard) or a Razor Copperhead Gaming Mouse? Is there something else out there that would be better than either of these? I would really love to knock his socks of with the perfect present so i appreciate any and all your help. Thanks for any help and/or guidance you can give me!
For guys like me who prefer easy mode, the changes are welcome. But for you true purists, it must be one hell of an adjustment. I have said that many times before: None of my toone ever HAD to do orange quests or grind in a zone just to get up to the level of the mobs. There were enough quests before and the xp was always okay for me. The only difference now is that I turned 60 with my last 2 characters and still had EPL and Silithus to quest in...zones where I normally ding 60 in. If you follow questlines through, you always have green and yellow quests. Maybe WoW seems easy mode now, but it was never hardmode really. BTW...this is true for Alliance and Horde...
You can't. Upgrade, that is. Unless they've changed things since, it was stated at the time that if you added a standard version of Burning Crusade to your account, you would not then be able to add a collector's edition at a later date. I have both CEs as well, and I had to wait nearly a week for my BC one, so I missed most of the launch stuff. Hope that doesn't happen with WotLK. Actually, shortly after they launched Burning Crusade, there was a large uproar of people who, out of desperation, bought the standard game and the CE, the standard box arrived first, they installed it, but couldn't install the CE. Blizzard changed their policy on it.... I think about a month after TBC launched, and let people be able to upgrade from regular to CE.
